What you’re probably wondering.

  • Is Dockex actually filing things, or is this a CRM for compliance work I still do?
    Depends on the filing. 2290 and UCR you start in-app on any plan — Dockex drafts it and you pay the fee. On Professional and up, Dockex files it for you and gets you the Schedule 1 or receipt. IRP, IFTA, and registration: in Oklahoma, Dockex files with the state for you. Outside Oklahoma, Dockex preps the full package and you submit. It’s the work, not just the worksheet.
  • What states and jurisdictions are supported?
    The software runs your fleet’s compliance nationwide on day one. Dockex files in Oklahoma today, with more states coming. Outside Oklahoma, we prep every filing — you or your permit agent submits.
  • How does pricing actually work?
    Same software on every plan. Tiers differ on how much filing work Dockex does for you. Starter $79/mo (up to 25 vehicles — you submit). Professional $249/mo (100 vehicles, Dockex-managed filing).   • What about my existing ELD, fuel cards, and TMS?
    Dockex reads HOS from Samsara or Motive, and GPS + mileage from any of the three (Samsara, Motive, Geotab). TMS hand-off via our read-only public REST API. Fuel-card import (WEX, Comdata, Fuelman) and QuickBooks sync are on the roadmap. If you’re on something else, tell us — coverage grows on customer request, not roadmap guesswork.
  • Is my data safe, and can I leave?
    AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit. AWS US-east. Payments via Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). CSV + PDF export from every list screen. Your records stay as long as your account is active — we never auto-delete them. Ask us to delete and we purge within 30 days, except regulatory filing records we’re required to retain for the 4-year IRP/IFTA audit window.
